From the Stacks to the Streets: Chicago’s Cultural Mile Walking Tour

A librarian-led walking tour of the Cultural Mile on Michigan Avenue, drawing on historic photographs and materials from the Chicago Collection at the Harold Washington Library Center. The roughly one-mile walk begins at the library on Wednesday morning, October 28, from 10:00 to 11:15 AM, stopping at several landmarks to hear the stories behind the buildings.
