Film Screening: La Bamba (1987)

A screening of the 1987 biopic *La Bamba*, which follows Ritchie Valens from his California childhood to his 1959 plane crash death alongside Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. This Sunday afternoon, September 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, the Archer Heights branch presents it in conjunction with their exhibit on Chicago's lowrider photography.
