The 1931 Spanish-language *Dracula*, shot simultaneously on the same sets as the Bela Lugosi version but with a different director and cast, plays Wednesday, September 30, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Lozano branch. George Melford’s take is looser and longer than the English-language classic, with Carlos Villarias as the vampire and Lupita Tovar as his prey. The screening is part of the branch’s Latine History Month Cinema series and includes English subtitles for accessibility. Free and open to the public.
