Film Screening: An American Pickle (2020)

A free midday screening of the 2020 comedy *An American Pickle*, in which Seth Rogen plays a Jewish immigrant who emerges from a vat of brine 100 years later and tracks down his only living descendant, a timid Brooklyn coder. The library's Community Cinema series brings it to the Harold Washington Library Center on Thursday, October 15, from noon to 2 PM. The library provides audio descriptions for patrons with visual disabilities and English subtitles for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Rated PG-13, 88 minutes.
