Feed the West Side at La Follette

The John Walt Foundation holds its seventh annual Feed the Westside Back-to-School Event at La Follette Park on Saturday, August 8, from noon to 4 PM. Five hundred students receive free backpacks filled with school supplies, plus groceries, fresh produce, haircuts, hair braiding, and vision screenings. Families can also eat free meals and play giant lawn games, sports, or dance to a live DJ and a special performance. The event runs until supplies are gone.
