Fall Urban Sketching Workshop

A relaxed urban sketching workshop at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on Sunday, September 27, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Led by traveling sketcher Amy Gowans, the session focuses on finding the interesting parts of a scene and arranging them without worrying about perfection, using a warm fall palette of golds, oranges, and reds inspired by the changing leaves on the grounds. It is designed for guests 13 and older, and no drawing experience is needed. Tickets are $35 to $40 and include full museum admission, including access to the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven.
