English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free English-language course meeting at Humboldt Park, designed for speakers of any native language who want to build fluency in speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding. The small, supportive classes aim to give participants practical skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. The course runs Mondays and Wednesdays from September 9 to December 16, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, with the next session on Monday, September 28. Registration is required; sign up online or email humboldtpark@chipublib.org. The program is a partnership with Literacy Chicago.
