English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free ESL/ELL course meeting twice a week at the Humboldt Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, designed to build speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural fluency in a small-class setting. All languages are welcome, and the content is geared toward practical communication with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. The course runs Mondays and Wednesdays from September 9 through December 16; the Wednesday, September 23 session runs from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Registration is required, and participants are encouraged to attend every session. Offered in partnership with Literacy Chicago.
