English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free English language course for adults meets twice a week at Humboldt Park, starting Wednesday, September 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and running Mondays and Wednesdays through December 16. Small, supportive classes build fluency in speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — designed to help people communicate more effectively with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. All languages are welcome. Participants must register and are expected to attend every session; registration is available online or by emailing humboldtpark@chipublib.org. The program is offered in partnership with Literacy Chicago.
