Educator Seminar | Facing Freedom
The Chicago History Museum offers educators a chance to dig into its newly reimagined *Facing Freedom* exhibition during a two-part seminar on Saturday, October 3, starting at 9:30 AM. The session covers themes of workers’ rights, public protest, community defense, and race and citizenship through facilitated activities, scholarly talks, and time in the exhibition, along with field trip planning. Attendees can earn up to six professional development hours and leave with free classroom resources. Registration is required, and the museum recommends the seminar for middle and high school educators; a second session on October 17 builds on this one.
