Drop-In Sketching: In the Spirit of de Kooning (Oct 1)

Drop-In Sketching at the Art Institute offers a chance to experiment with drawing techniques inspired by Willem de Kooning's work, in conjunction with the museum's exhibition of his drawings. This is the final session in a three-part series, held Thursday, October 1, from noon to 2 PM in the North Garden (or inside the museum if the weather is bad). It's open to all skill levels; bring your own sketchbook and pencils, or use materials provided first-come, first-served. Pastels and Conté crayons are involved, so wear clothes you don't mind getting stained. Free with museum admission, no registration required.
