Curious Kids - Compost

Curious Kids explores how food scraps become soil at this hands-on story time for young children, featuring a story, snacks, activities, and a presentation from the Department of Streets and Sanitation. Families can take home a kitchen scrap collection container, one per family, if they want to start composting at home. The program runs Wednesday, September 30, from 3:30 to 4:15 PM at Lincoln Belmont, and the library is planning to make it a monthly series—attendees can suggest future topics.
