Contra Dance to Baba Yaga's Stew at Horner

Baba Yaga’s Stew brings free contra dancing to Horner Park on Saturday, September 12, from 2 to 4 PM, with a caller teaching each dance so no experience or partner is needed. The band draws from Irish, Thai, Romanian, Peruvian, Indian, and other traditions, and experienced dancers stick around to help newcomers find the rhythm. It’s a low-key way to spend an afternoon in the park — just show up and follow the long lines of the dance.
