Computer Basics: Excel 101

A practical, hands-on Excel class for people who already know how to use a computer but have never really worked with a spreadsheet. Over the course of an hour on Tuesday, October 13, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM, you'll build a mock budget—entering text and numbers, formatting cells, and doing basic addition and subtraction. The library provides the computers; late arrivals won't be admitted past 1:45. Held at the Harold Washington Library Center in the Loop, and free—no library card needed.
