
Chinatown Cultural Reads: Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li

Li's *Portrait of a Thief*, a heist novel about a crew of Chinese American students recruited to reclaim artifacts looted from China; it's a debut from a Stanford medical student and is already slated for a Netflix adaptation.
