America 250: Chicago's Letters to America
On Sunday, July 26, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, the citywide letter-writing project *Letters to America* stops in Chinatown as part of the America 250 celebration. Chicagoans 18 and older are invited to sit down with provided materials and write a personal reflection on their lives, communities, and experiences in the city, connecting those stories to a broader American narrative. Letters will become part of an archival collection at the Chicago Public Library. Registration is encouraged but not required.
