Chicago Zine Fest 2026

Chicago Zine Fest returns to the Harold Washington Library Center on Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM to 4 PM, bringing together more than 90 zinesters and small-press publishers for a vendor fair on the 9th floor and hands-on workshops on the 8th. Throughout the day, attendees can try stamp making with linocuts, typewriter messaging, button and collage creation, and bookbinding. Panels include an Indigenous Zinester discussion at 11:30 AM, collaborative character drawing at 1 PM, and a workshop on using zines to build tabletop role-playing games at 2:30 PM. All ages are welcome, and the event is free.
