Chicago Kids Care: Current Events

At the Daley, Richard J.—Bridgeport branch, kids 6 to 12 gather on Sunday, August 30, from 2 to 3 PM to talk through what’s happening in the news and then draw their own visual response to a current event. The program welcomes caregivers to stay and join the discussion. A straightforward, low-key way to help young readers connect with the world around them, led by the library.
