CHI+AI Convening

Chicago Public Library is hosting a full-day civic summit on artificial intelligence at the Harold Washington Library Center on Saturday, October 3, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The CHI+AI Convening brings together partners from government, education, nonprofits, and industry—including Nvidia, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and Chicago Public Schools—to explain how AI is affecting work, public services, education, and creativity, and how Chicagoans can engage with it safely. Programming features moderated panels, hands-on workshops, exhibitor showcases, and facilitated discussions on ethics and equity. Accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days' notice.
