Artist Talk: Ei Arakawa-Nash
Performance artist Ei Arakawa-Nash discusses his work at Fullerton Hall on Monday, October 12, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Arakawa-Nash, a queer Japanese American artist based in Los Angeles, creates lo-fi works that mimic and embody cultural forms—architecture, art history, organizational systems—often through collaboration with other artists, historians, and audience members. His practice draws on vintage performance traditions like Gutai, Fluxus, and Judson Dance Theater, reanimating them for contemporary contexts. The talk is presented by the Society for Contemporary Art. Free, but registration is required.
