Art in the Library: Families Together

A free, drop-in art workshop at the Garfield Ridge library, where families with kids ages 3 to 13 can create mixed-media pieces inspired by artists including Mary Cassatt, Romare Bearden, and Jacob Lawrence. On Saturday, October 17, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, supplies like watercolor paper, markers, and patterned paper are set up at a designated table on the children's side; kids draw and paint, then the library displays the finished work. No registration is needed.
