Art in the Library: Families Together

The Artist's Studio program brings Art Institute of Chicago-inspired workshops to the Garfield Ridge branch on Saturday, October 3, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Families with kids aged 3 to 13 can drop by an art table stocked with watercolor paper, markers, colored pencils, and patterned paper to create mixed-media pieces inspired by Mary Cassatt, Margaret Burroughs, Romare Bearden, Suzuki Harunobu, or Jacob Lawrence. Finished artwork gets displayed in the library. No registration required; supplies are available while they last.
