Art in the Library: Families Together

Art in the Library brings a partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago to Garfield Ridge on Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Families with kids ages 3 to 13 can drop in to create mixed-media art inspired by Mary Cassatt, Margaret Burroughs, Romare Bearden, and others, using watercolor paper, markers, colored pencils, and patterned paper. Finished artwork gets displayed in the library. Supplies are set up at a designated table on the children's side.
