Art in the Library: Families Together

The Artist's Studio at the Library continues its series with the Art Institute of Chicago, this time focusing on Mary Cassatt, Margaret Burroughs, Romare Bearden, Suzuki Harunobu, and Jacob Lawrence. On Saturday, September 19, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, families with children ages 3 to 13 can drop by Garfield Ridge to create mixed-media artwork on watercolor paper using markers, colored pencils, paint, and patterned paper. Finished pieces will be displayed in the library. Supplies are set up at a designated table on the children's side; no registration required.
