American Prophets: The Platinum Age of Gospel (IN PERSON)

Charrise Barron, a minister, gospel artist, and Harvard professor, visits the American Writers Museum to discuss her new book *The Platinum Age of Gospel*, which examines how Black gospel music crossed over into the mainstream between 1993 and 2013, reshaping American popular music and the culture of Black churches.
