2026 Summer Writing Institute (ONLINE)

The American Writers Museum and Teach Tank co-present a professional development day for educators, held online on Wednesday, August 12. The session offers entirely new creative writing exercises designed to refresh classroom curricula, with time built in for teachers to swap ideas and adapt the museum’s online resources. Topics include integrating writing instruction amid the challenges of 2026, from AI to limited classroom time. Illinois teachers earn 4 CPDUs. Registration is $80.
