Adult Book Discussion: The Maid

The adult book discussion at the Harold Washington Library Center in the Loop covers Nita Prose’s *The Maid*, a mystery about a hotel maid who finds a dead body and must identify the killer. The conversation runs Thursday, December 17, from noon to 1 PM, and is especially welcoming to patrons with print disabilities — accessible audiobook or braille formats are available in advance through the library’s Assistive Resources and Talking Book Center. Anyone needing sign language interpretation or other accessibility support should request it at least 14 business days ahead by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org.
