Adult Book Discussion: At Night All Blood is Black
The Harold Washington Library Center's In Translation Book Club meets Saturday, August 22, from 2 to 3 PM to discuss David Diop's *At Night All Blood Is Black*, a novel about a Senegalese soldier losing his grip in the trenches of World War I. The group gathers monthly on the third or fourth Saturday (holidays permitting), always reading books translated into English from another language. Registration is active; the library asks that accessibility requests — including sign language interpretation — be made at least 14 business days in advance.
