A Quilt is a Poem That We Say Again: Panel Discussion

A panel discussion with the fiber artists behind the exhibition *A Quilt Is a Poem That We Say Again: queer quilting Chicago*, a community-driven project organized by teaching artist Eliza Fernand. The quilts on display — in the Ida B. Wells Corridor at Harold Washington Library Center through January 11, 2027 — range from improvised to patterned, incorporating text, politics, and play. The panel on Monday, November 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, digs into the techniques and ideas behind the work. Free and open to the public; accessibility requests must be made by October 30.
