Meet the Maker: Redemptive Plastics
A drop-in meet-the-artist session at the Obama Presidential Center on Tuesday, October 13, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, focused on Redemptive Plastics—a collaborative project based in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood that rethinks plastic waste through art, faith, and community partnerships. The maker-in-residence and guest speakers will talk through their process and the project's "Ambient Experience," though this is a conversation and learning opportunity, not a hands-on workshop. Accessibility requests (sign language interpretation, etc.) require at least 14 business days' notice.
