A free Magic: The Gathering workshop at Humboldt Park, where teens 11 to 18 can learn the game from scratch or find opponents for casual duels. The library provides enough cards — donated by Magikids and local patrons — for each participant to build and keep their own deck. The session runs Saturday, October 10, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, and is best suited for those who can request accessibility accommodations at least 14 business days in advance.
