Dancing on the Spot Presents Artist(s) Statement! at Berger
A dance show at Berger Park Coach House Theater that takes improvisation and an artist's creative process as its actual subject — not just its inspiration. The ensemble interviewed artists at Material Studios and Gallery in Milwaukee, then built poetry from those conversations, which becomes the soundscape for a fully improvised performance on Friday, November 6, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. Expect something less like a finished piece and more like watching performers respond in real time to real artists' voices. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students and seniors; the show is recommended for ages 18 and up.
