Comic Art Workshop with Optimist Comics

A comic art workshop for teens and tweens ages 10 to 18, led by teaching artists from Optimist Comics at Woodson Regional Library. Participants design their own original character and pick up digital illustration skills along the way; no prior experience is required, and all materials are provided. The session runs Thursday, November 19, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and it’s structured as a drop-in — you can attend just this one or return the following week to keep building on your character. Registration opens by the start of the event, and parents or guardians must use their own email address for anyone under 13.
