Youth Poetry Workshop

A weekly poetry workshop for kids ages 10 to 13, led by Maya Tsingos, a local poet and medical student serving as a 2026–2027 Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellow. Each session on Thursday afternoon, October 22 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM involves reading a poem, learning a poetic term, and writing an original poem in a supportive setting. Participants can write, listen, share, or simply observe. Registration is required by 4:30 PM on the day of the event, and a parent or guardian's email must be used to register due to CPL's privacy policy for children under 13.
