Youth Poetry Workshop

A free poetry workshop at the West Town branch on Thursday, October 15, 4:30 to 5:30 PM, led by Maya Tsingos—a local poet, medical student, and current Schweitzer Fellow teaching poetry to Chicago youth. She guides the group through reading a poem together, learning a few craft terms, then writing something new, all in a low-stakes setting where listening quietly is just as welcome as sharing. Registration is required by October 8, and the workshop is designed for teens ages 14 to 16.
