Youth Poetry Workshop

A weekly poetry workshop for teens ages 14 to 16, led by local poet and medical student Maya Tsingos. Each session involves reading a poem, learning a few poetic terms, and writing your own in a low-pressure setting. Tsingos runs the group as part of her Schweitzer Fellowship year teaching poetry to Chicago youth. The workshop meets at West Town on Thursday, October 8, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and registration is required by 4:30 PM that day.
