YOUmedia Studio Certification Training

The Chicago Bee YOUmedia runs a certification training for teens 13 to 18 who want to use the branch's recording studio on their own. Over an hour on Monday, December 7, from 4 to 5 PM, participants learn how to operate the microphone, audio interface, and production software, with optional instruction on autotuning, EQing, and audio compression depending on interest and experience. Completing the training is required for unsupervised studio time during future visits. Registration is through ACTIVE.
