Wycinanki: The Art of Polish Paper Cutouts

Wycinanki, the Polish folk art of paper cutting, takes center stage in a hands-on workshop led by Grace Bazylewski, a Polish American teacher and practitioner with more than 35 years of experience. Participants will learn the techniques of cutting, clipping, punching, and tearing paper into decorative forms, then create their own colorful wycinanki designs to take home. The session takes place on Saturday, October 17, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, in Little Italy. Registration is required.
