Walking History: Exploring Chicago Parks at Humboldt

Equiticity’s Walking History series returns to Humboldt Park on Sunday, September 27, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM, for one of six monthly walks designed around the United States’ 250th birthday. The program is part of the organization’s 2026 Community Mobility Rituals, which use regular group movement to build social cohesion in neighborhoods that have been historically marginalized. This walk focuses on how Chicago Park District parks both reflect and helped shape the city’s and the nation’s history. Registration details are not listed.
