Tween Food Lab: Candy, Slime and Gumdrop Bridges

Tween Food Lab turns an ordinary Thursday afternoon into a hands-on lesson in STEM, disguised as snack-making. Designed for kids 10 to 13, the program at Woodson Regional on Thursday, November 12, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM walks participants through three edible challenges: candy sushi, slime you can eat, and a gumdrop bridge that tests structure and measurement. It’s a practical introduction to texture, design, and problem-solving for anyone who’d rather learn with their hands than from a textbook.
