Touch-a-Truck

Touch-a-Truck gives kids ages 2 to 13 a hands-on look at the city vehicles they see on the street — fire trucks, garbage trucks, maybe a snowplow or two — without the usual "don't touch" rules. This edition at Edgebrook on Saturday, August 29, from 10 to 11 AM was rescheduled from an earlier cancellation this month, and it's sponsored by Alderman Samantha Nugent. Registration is required by the start of the event, and parents or guardians must use their own email to register children under 13.
