Toro Nagashi: Lantern Ceremony at Jackson Park

The annual Toro Nagashi lantern ceremony takes place on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Jackson Park's Osaka Garden. This free event allows 300 registrants to craft and float lanterns in the pond to honor loved ones, accompanied by live shamisen music and guest speakers. Registration is required, and lanterns are distributed first come, first served.
