The World Through Linocut: An Introduction to Linocut Printmaking at Home
An introduction to linocut printmaking led by the Summer Maker-in-Residence, Josie, at Woodson Regional. Participants learn the basics of designing and carving a linocut block, using tools and materials, and drawing inspiration from their surroundings. The workshop is hands-on and messy — wear clothes that can get stained. No prior experience needed, and all materials are provided. Each participant leaves with their own 8x10 or 10x8 linocut block and print. The workshop meets Friday morning, September 4, from 10 AM to noon; not recommended for children.
