The Scary Squad: Tween Advisory Board

The Scary Squad Tween Advisory Board at Legler Regional puts kids ages 10 to 13 in charge of designing the library’s annual Haunted Library celebration for the Garfield Park community. The group meets Tuesday, October 13, from 4:00 to 4:45 PM to plan decorations, select horror books and movies to read and watch together, and practice leadership and organizational skills. This is a hands-on volunteer and creative role, not just a drop-in activity, for tweens who want to help build something for their neighbors.
