The Rink Effect at Park No. 602

The Rink Effect transforms the Plaza at Garfield Park into an outdoor roller skating rink for a free community celebration on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Presented by the Care Moor Foundation and the Chicago Park District, this activation revives Chicago’s skating tradition with an open-air experience for all ages and skill levels.
