The Lizard y El Sol: Theater for the Very Young
The Lizard y El Sol brings a bilingual Mexican folktale to the McKinley Park field on Saturday, August 15, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. When El Sol vanishes, a brave lizard sets off to bring back the light, told through interactive storytelling, puppets, and live music. The play is presented primarily in Spanish but is designed to be understood by all audiences, and it's made especially for children ages 0 to 5 and their grown-ups. Presented in partnership with the Goodman Theatre. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with a request made at least 14 business days in advance.
