The Lizard y El Sol is a bilingual puppet-theater piece for the very youngest audience members, presented in partnership with the Goodman Theatre. When El Sol disappears from the sky, a brave lizard sets off on a quest to bring back the light, told through interactive storytelling, colorful puppets, and Mexican-inspired music and dance. The 11 AM performance on Thursday, August 13 at Altgeld is designed for children 0 to 5 and their adult companions, and while it's presented primarily in Spanish, it's crafted to be understood regardless of language. Accessibility requests for sign language interpretation or other accommodations must be made at least 14 business days in advance.
