The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan at McKinley
A puppet theater piece about the sturgeon — the prehistoric fish sometimes called the dinosaur of Lake Michigan — comes to McKinley Park on Saturday, August 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Kerfuffle and Rabbitfoot Puppetry use hyper-realistic animal puppets made from recyclable materials, live music, and physical storytelling in this participatory show for children ages 3 to 6 with their caregivers. The story follows Mary as she hunts for the elusive sturgeon, weaving in themes of community care and the climate emergency.
