A participatory puppet show for the youngest set, performed at Leone Beach in Rogers Park. Kerfuffle and Rabbitfoot Puppetry use hyper-realistic animal puppets made from recycled materials, live music, and physical storytelling to follow a treasure hunt for the elusive “dinosaur of Lake Michigan” — actually a sturgeon. The piece weaves in themes of community care and the climate emergency in a way designed for children ages 3 to 6 with their caregivers. The performance takes place Tuesday, September 1, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
