A puppet show and participatory play that turns a lake-monster legend into a gentle introduction to climate awareness. Mary, a treasure-hunting character, leads young audiences on a search for the sturgeon — the so-called "dinosaur of Lake Michigan" — using hyper-realistic puppets made from recyclable materials, live music, and physical storytelling. Kerfuffle and Rabbitfoot Puppetry stage the piece near Chicago's waterways, and the performance is best suited for children ages 3 to 6 with their caregivers. It takes place at Humboldt Park on Tuesday, August 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
